Registration Process

As applicants you can complete the on-line application form and send this together with your CV or drop your application at any of our offices. Click here for contact details. Upon submission of the CV, one of our recruitment consultants will contact you after you must have been assessed on your work experience and its relevance to the type of position you are seeking or job vacancies available.

cardsAfter your documents must have been assessed and you meet our requirements, then one of our recruitment consultants will contact you for the next stage which is interview. You will be given the opportunity to know about the company, tell us what your experiences in the past have been, your likes and dislikes as well as the kind job and contract you are seeking. You also will be given the opportunity to ask questions about the firm, its culture, salary and benefits as well as other working conditions. If we find you suitable, we will then conduct reference checks and the registration process with Paulablack is then complete.

Following the registration and reference checks, you’ll be asked to submit two guarantors who MUST sign and stand-in for you should you default in any way on our agreed terms and conditions or commit any kind offence that requires their input. All our employees MUST attend the specialized training organized by Paulablack before resumption. This training is designed to teach our employees how to conduct themselves in their place of work and tips on how they can carry out their daily tasks effectively.

cardsAfter you must have completed the above process satisfactorily, then we will be able to put you forward for those positions we have mutually agreed as appropriate. You will attend interviews with prospective employees and if successful, then you will resume work with our client as agreed by all parties. Once you have been successful and a position has been offered, your assigned Consultant will always be on hand for post placement advice.

The first three months of our clients hiring any domestic help from us is called the probationary period. During this time you and the domestic staff will be adjusting to each other and we recommend that our clients have weekly meetings to discuss how things are going. Feedback and communication are key factors to a successful placement. At Paulablack we also encourage our clients to discuss any issues with any of our recruitment consultants prior to the meeting to see what their view is.

Typical duties may include heavy interior and exterior cleaning of the home, perform household repairs and assist the housekeepers if needed, running errands, maintaining household cleaning supplies, driving, take care of trash and recycling inside and outside household, automobile care and maintenance, gardening, serving for events and parties, care of pets, making sure all home appliances and generator equipment are in working order.

Our stwareds have been trainin to perform tasks such as meals and bartending; Cabin service and detailing; Polishing glassware, flatware, silverware, Refrigerated drinks restocking, Laundry guest and crew, Boat stowage for sea, and also assisting the deck department with the various duties washing, polishing, line handling, fenders and water sports set up They are a high attention to detail, are able to use their discretion in carrying out their duties. They are also energetic, have the ability to take direction and can work as a good team player and are multitasking.
